Why should
we use beautiful fresh flowers with fragrance in pooja (Worship?)
Beautiful flowers with fragrance are the gift of
Mother Nature the petals of the flowers are very tender and have a great
attractive power at the same time the fragrance of the flowers will always
attract the conscious and vision of human beings.
The same flowers are capable of attracting divine and
cosmic power from the surroundings. When we hold the fresh flowers of fragrance
in our hands during our prayer and worship the petals of the flowers will
vibrate with our consciousness and store the human desire along with chanting
of holy words (Mantras) when we offer these flowers to the respected deities
made of different metals in different amalgamation by consecrating with divine power
(Prana pratista) and the main deities established in various temples with Vedic
consecration to keep the idols always vibrant with cosmic power.
When these flowers touch the idols the color and the
fragrance of the flowers will absorb the divine power and again they radiate
and reflect divine power to our surroundings and the location will be
sanctified with holy atmosphere there by the person who are in the vicinity
will be influenced by the divine power and ignite the mind with positive
thoughts and actions.
There by in our vedic system of worship we must use
plenty of fresh flowers to radiate the positive energy which is very essential
for peaceful leaving.
Pushparchana
is a very essential activity in our vedic worship along with fresh water, fresh
milk, fresh ghee and fresh fruit juices.
